Bodies of youth, woman found on rail track in Berhampur

Berhampur: Dead bodies of a youth and married woman were found lying on a rail track beneath an overbridge near Kamapalli in the town today.

The deceased were identified as Kalia Moharana of Srikrusna Nagar in Lanjipalli and P.Lakshmi of Goilundi area.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.

The probe will elicit further on how the two were related and the reason behind their death, said a GRP official.

From preliminary investigation it is suspected that the duo might have committed suicide though no serious injury mark was found on the bodies of the deceased, the GRP official added.
