Koraput’s Semiliguda sees coldest night of season, mercury dips to 6.4 degree Celsius

Normal life has been severely affected in southern Koraput district of Odisha with the mercury sliding to record low degrees. Semiliguda town of the district witnessed the coldest night of the season on Tuesday with a temperature of 6.4 degree Celsius.

Sharing information about the prevailing cold wave conditions in the State, the Bhubaneswar regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that mercury has plummeted below 14 degree in as many as nine places.
