The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted light to moderate rain or thundershower activities in several parts of Odisha over the weekend.
Cold wave conditions prevailed at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal district. The minimum (night) temperatures observed appreciable fall at one or two places over south interior Odisha and registered rise in north interior and south coastal Odisha.
As per IMD, the minimum temperature is very likely to rise gradually by 3 to 5 degree Celsius during the next three days.
The highest maximum temperature of 32 degree Celsius was recorded at Titilagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 8 degree Celsius was recorded at Phulbani in the past 24 hours.
