Bhubaneswar: After a heavy downpour on Tuesday afternoon that caused water-logging situation in Bhubaneswar, several parts of the State is likely to get mild to incessant rains today.
Some regions are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall today, Bhubaneswar meteorological centre predicted.
Districts like Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Cuttack, Khurdha, Sambalpur, Deogarh are expected to witness heavy rain today.

The weather department also has predicted similar situation in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Keonjhar, Koraput, Malkangiri and Sundergarh.
After brief spell of rain, the Capital city Bhubaneswar had witnessed water-logging situation on Tuesday afternoon.
Several vehicles were seen plying in knee-deep water. Some of them were also stuck amid water-logging.
Residents had a tough time as rain water gushed into the houses in Nayapalli and Behera Sahi areas in the city.Most of the low lying areas in the town were inundated due to overflowing drain water.
People were seen wading through knee deep water on the roads while communicating with nearby shops. Vehicles were seen negotiating in waist-deep water on the NH 16 in front of the ISKON temple in the city.
The situation had exposed the shoddy monsoon preparedness of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
