Mumbai Indians 360 degree swashbuckling batsman Suryakumar Yadav is not only a thorough entertainer on the ground, but also he is a prankster off the ground too.
In a video recently uploaded by Mumbai Indians (MI) on their Twitter handle, Surya is found asking for a lemon from one of the air hostesses and squeezing it on the mouth of sleeping Tilak Varma.
Following Surya’s prank, Varma woke up from his sleep and he was in hilarious disbelief. He was seen asking, “kya hei is mein (What is in it)”.
Some teammates of Varma were heard bursting into laughter.
MI has captioned the video, “Chain se sona hai toh jaag jao.”
The video has reportedly gone viral within no time. It has garnered around 280,000 views and 10,000 likes so far. Several fans have also flooded the comment box with hilarious comments.
“Areeeee yaarrrr chain ki nind bhi nhi lene Diya bechare ko,” wrote a fan.
“Paltan make him eat mangoes they r sweet,” another fan tweeted in jest.
In response to the video, a third user commented, “The idea of rithika and surya.”
Notably, the five time champions beat Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) convincingly in the Eliminator to book a berth in the second qualifier of IPL 2023 where they will meet Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT).
