National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and party’s Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate, Baijayant Panda said that lakhs and lakhs of voters in Odisha and in the country want to vote Prime Minister Narendra Modi to power for the third term as he has taken the country far ahead.
“I see a positive atmosphere for the BJP in Odisha. The acceptability of the lotus (BJP symbol) in Odisha has grown exponentially in the last five years. Now, it has reached its peak. The popularity of the Prime Minister has spread globally. People in Odisha have realised their wrong decision in the past by not joining the chariot of progress,” said Baijayant Panda during his massive Jan Sampark Yatra (public contact programme) in the Mahanga Assembly constituency on Wednesday.
Baijayant Panda, accompanied by Sumanta Ghadei, the party’s MLA nominee for the Mahanga constituency, reached out to the people from all walks of life and canvassed for votes.
BJP will form government in Odisha: Gujarat Minister
Gujarat minister, Bhikhusinh Parmar, who participated in the rally said, "I have been moving about in various areas in the Kendrapara Lok Sabha constituency for the last six days. People, particularly youths are more interested in the BJP. More and more people are joining the rally. Going by the current political atmosphere, I sense that the BJP will form the government in the state and the Lok Sabha seat will come to the BJP.”
He added that people have trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Party’s MLA nominee Sumanta Ghadei said, "Modiji enjoys the trust of the people. We are fully confident that the BJP will win in Mahanga and form the government in Odisha.”
A big motorcycle rally started from Nischintakoili Bazaar and culminated at Sukarapada. The rally passed through Barapada, Tilakana, Tarat and Asureswar. Thousands of party workers and his supporters thronged the rally.
