A 22-year-old resident of Chakeisiani locality was grievously injured following an armed attack by multiple individuals in the Industrial Estate area under Mancheswar Police limits in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as Rudra Narayan Patra, police sources said.

Police have rescued Rudra, who sustained severe injuries, and he was admitted to a medical facility for treatment.
According to sources, Rudra Patra suffered injuries in his arms and legs due to the attack at Chakeisiani. He is currently receiving urgent medical attention at Capital Hospital.
The violent incident occurred in Mancheswar, where authorities discovered bloodstains and slippers at the scene, suggesting a chaotic altercation. The local police have commenced an in-depth investigation into the case.
Police officials have stated that the victim’s condition remains serious, and the investigation into the matter is underway.
Fallout of past enmity alleged
“I was attacked over past enmity,” Rudra said in a critical condition.
