A non-bailable warrant (NBW) has been issued against singer Sourin Bhatt in connection with the harassment case against him.
As the singer was reportedly not cooperating in the investigation of the sexual harassment case lodged by a woman, the Commissionerate Police had moved the court seeking an NBW against the singer. The NBW application was filed by Mahila Police Station, Cuttack. The SDJM court accepted the appeal and issued an NBW against Bhatt.
On June 12, a woman accused the Ollywood singer of sexually harassing her and cheating her of lakhs of rupees. The complainant reportedly works in a private bank. As per her allegations, she had come in contact with the singer in 2015.

Fearing arrest, the singer had filed for an anticipatory bail petition in the Orissa High Court. The court had granted interim protection to the singer on August 1. The Court had also directed the playback singer to cooperate in the police investigation whenever required.
On August 30, the Orissa High Court rejected his anticipatory bail plea.
On September 11, 2023, the Commissionerate Police issued a lookout circular against him. The next day, the Commissionerate Police wrote to two banks, including the Bank of Baroda in Kolkata, to freeze the singer’s accounts.
