Speaking to mediapersons, the Balasore MP expressed, “My health condition is now almost well. However, the bandage on my head will be removed after three to four days.”

“On December 19, we (some BJP MPs) had gone to the Parliament. On behalf of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), we had been staging a protest against the insult of Dr Ambedkar. We were peacefully standing there holding placards in our hands,” the Odisha MP said.

“Rahul Gandhi appeared at the spot and started pushing others and moved ahead. I was standing at the front and none of the BJP MPs had obstructed him. There was sufficient space on both sides to pass by. I was not even confronting him. All of a sudden, he changed his route and rushed towards us,” the MP further said.
