India-England ODI at Cuttack Barabati: Know gallery layout before offline ticket sale

Online ticket sales for the match began at 4 pm on February 2 and were sold out within minutes. However, only 4,000 of the tickets were sold online while a whole lot more will be available offline at the stadium counters on February 5 and 6.

The upcoming India-England (One-Day International) ODI at Cuttack Barabati Stadium on February 9 is highly anticipated for cricket enthusiasts in the state, provided that it is Odisha’s first ODI match in six years.

Online ticket sales for the match began at 4 pm on February 2 and were sold out within minutes. However, only 4,000 of the tickets were sold online while a whole lot more will be available offline at the stadium counters on February 5 and 6.

To aid fans, here is a layout of the galleries and seating arrangements at the Barabati Stadium that will be handy to know beforehand and book the right choice:

Barabati Stadium Seating Layout:

Barabati Stadium has a total capacity of around 45,000 people and features multiple galleries and seating areas, including Galleries 1 to 7, a Special Enclosure, an AC Box, a New Pavilion, and a Corporate Box.

Ticket prices vary depending on the seating area, ranging from Rs 700 for Gallery 7 to Rs 20,000 for the Corporate Box.

The stadium has two end names- Mahanadi River End and Pavilion End and has a media box capacity of 200, along with a media conference hall that can accommodate 250 people.

1) Corporate Box:

Prominently located at the Mahanadi River End, this complex marks the most luxurious viewing experience for spectators. However, it is also one of the most prominent structures and an important landmark for one standing outside the Stadium and its entrance is marked by the iconic Horse Gate.

Ticket Price: Rs 20,000

2) Gallery 1 and Gallery 2:

Viewing from outside, Gallery 1 and 2 are situated on the right side of the Corporate Box.

Gallery 1 is located on the lower level and is closer to the field whereas Gallery 2 is on the upper level.

Ticket price: Gallery 1: Rs 1,100, Gallery 2: Rs 900

3) Gallery 6 and Gallery 7:

Viewing from outside, Gallery 6 and 7 are situated on the left side of the Corporate Box.

Gallery 6 is located on the mid-lower level and is closer to the field whereas Gallery 7 is on the highest level.

Ticket price: Gallery 7: Rs 700

4) Special Enclosure (Block B):

Located right below Gallery 6, on the left side of the Corporate Box (viewing from the outside of the stadium) is Special Enclosure.

Equipped with air-conditioned systems and close viewing angles to the field, it is a prime spot to enjoy the match.

Ticket price: Rs 6,000

5) Gallery 5:

On the eastern side of the Barabati Stadium is Gallery 5. It is an elevated gallery and is right next to the Mahatma Gandhi window, currently used for housing the big screen.

Ticket price: Rs 1,200

6) Special Enclosure (Block A):

Located below Gallery 5, Special Enclosure Block A has all the luxuries of Block B.

Ticket price: Rs 6,000

7) New Pavillion:

Situated on the Pavillion End, this recently constructed complex is right opposite the Corporate Box. It contains various levels with prime viewing angles and is situated adjacent to the iconic Clock Tower and dressing rooms.

Ticket Price: Rs 10,000

8) Gallery 3 and Gallery 4:

Galleries 3 and 4 are situated on the front of Galleries 6 and 7. Gallery 3 is located on the lower level and is closer to the field whereas Gallery 4 is on the upper level.

Ticket price: Gallery 3: Rs 1,100, Gallery 4: Rs 900

8) Club House and IMFA Box:

Situated in between the Gallery 1-2 block and the Gallery 3-4 block is the historic Club House and to the right of it is the IMFA Box. While the former is open to the public, Club House generally houses OCA members and other dignitaries.

Ticket price: Rs 8,000 for IMFA Box, Club House is not mentioned to be on sale for regular tickets.

9) AC Boxes:

In between Galleries 1 and 2 and Galleries 3 and 4 are AC Boxes. Air-conditioned and equipped with TVs, these luxury boxes are situated at a height that provides a decent balance of both view and comfort.
