Even as a fresh low pressure continued to wreak havoc in various parts of Odisha, it was rather sheer jubilation for some others in Paradip area.
A different sight unfolded before the eyes of some locals in Koladia village when they witnessed loads of fish flocking on the road flooded with gushing rainwater.
Despite heavy rain pounding the area, onlookers, witnessing the opportunity for an easy catch, jumped to the occasion to try their luck.

A video of the incident is now garnering widespread curiosity among netizens. In the visual, people could be seen casting nets to catch the fish swarming the floodwaters.
Several low lying parts of Paradip including Muslim Basti, Court Chhak, Paradip Gada road went for a deluge on Sunday after continuous downpour in the wake of an intensifying low pressure.
As per the Met department, Paradip alone has received 166.6 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.
The Regional Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar has hoisted local cautionary signal number- 3 at all ports including Paradip.
“Surface wind with speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph very likely along and off Odisha coast and over North & West central Bay of Bengal during 12 to 14 September,” the MeT office tweeted.
Notably, the weather office has issued rainfall alert for next three days under the influence of the well marked low pressure area over Northwest and adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal.
Under the influence of the well-marked low pressure, red warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for eight districts of the State for two days, including Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
Similarly, the weather office has issued red warning for Angul, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Bargarh, Bolangir and Sonepur districts for tomorrow.
