The pair of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan gave some good movies like Devdas, Mohabbatein, Josh, and more. Their pair was much loved and they could have been easily one of the best onscreen couples had there not been Salman Khan getting involved with Aishwarya. The ruckus Salman Khan caused during the shooting of Chalte Chalte was the reason why SRK decided to drop Ash from his home production.
From then on she lost many good movies with Shah Rukh Khan just because he did not want to work with her and hamper his movies due to interference of Salman as the relationship between Ash and the Tere Naam actor had turned sour. Thus, Bollywood lost the chance of getting a few more movies with SRK and Ash as the lead pair. Years later they made guest appearances together in Karan Johar ’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil but fans always wanted much more.
Although it cannot be changed as so many years have passed in between, the two have done some stage shows together. So when a video clip showed SRK and the beauty queen dancing to the title song of Taal and getting all romantic and mushy, fans of the pair felt nostalgic. In the movie Taal, Aishwarya is paired with Akshaye Khanna who has done a fabulous job even in this song.
But when this clip resurfaced after so many years, Ash-SRK fans could not help but wonder what if Shah Rukh Khan had done the movie and it could have certainly turned out to be a memorable performance.

While today Aishwarya is seen very less in the movies, Shah Rukh Khan has shifted from his typical romantic style to action. He has also made it clear that he is now more interested in an all-action flick so chances of Ash and SRK getting back in a romantic movie are very deem. Even then the fans of the pair are hoping that they might get a more mature pair of Aishwarya and Shah Rukh Khan romancing on the big screen one day.
