Raveena Tandon continues to be one of the most glamorous actresses in Bollywood even today. But her jalwa was at its peak during the Kargil War when Indian troops decided to flush out Pakistani soldiers from Indian land.
As a part of the strategy, the IAF then had launched Safed Sagar Operation to eliminate the Pakistani ground targets. It was one of the major decisions that helped India win the Kargil war.
Apparently, at that time Nawaz Sharif was the Prime Minister of India and his favourite Bollywood star was Raveena Tandon. Pakistani soldiers, who knew about the crush of their PM for the mast mast girl, repeatedly mocked the Indians saying that they will leave Kashmir if India gives them Raveena and Madhuri Dixit who was the Numero Uno of Bollywood at that time.
