The recent reports of Ranbir Kapoor coming on board for the much-awaited Dhoom 4 as the lead antagonist elated one and all. However, the reports of ousting Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra from the fourth instalment of the Dhoom franchise left many disheartened. While fans started speculating about the new generation actors replacing the cops-duo, a recent buzz suggested that makers have locked Vijay Krishna Acharya as the helmer for the Dhoom reboot. Now, the fresh buzz has mounted confusion among all.
As per the fresh buzz, Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor will not be directing the fourth installment of the Dhoom franchise. The buzz states it as 'Fake News' and the makers are yet to finalise the director.
Further, the rumours also suggest that Ayan Mukerji is the front-runner as the helmer for the Dhoom reboot. If the rumours are anything to go by, Aditya Chopra and the YRF team are highly impressed with the outputs of War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in the lead.

As the confusion mounts over the helmer for Dhoom 4 a section of fans have already started celebrating it.
Many heaved a sigh of relief after the report of Victor coming on board for Dhoom 4 was cited as 'Fake News.' Even they celebrated the possibility of Ayan taking charge as the helmer.
However, no official information has been obtained from Yash Raj Films (YRF) or any of the actors/directors. Fans need to wait for a clarification from the makers.
