Odisha recorded a pass percentage of 97.8 per cent in the Class 10 exams, result of which was released by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Friday. Though the high pass percentage has made students ecstatic, a day after several students are worried over the prospects of admission into colleges for the next courses.

The State has around 6.3 lakh seats in Plus 2 colleges, ITIs and Diploma institutions. However, 6. 17 lakh students have passed in the Matric exam apart from 10,000 students from CBSE and ICSE boards.
