In gross violation of human rights, members belonging to ‘Human Organisation’, a local group, allegedly thrashed a father-son duo from Kadaba village under Bolagarh block in Khordha district on Friday.
A video of the inhuman incident has gone viral on social media. In the video, some miscreants can be seen and heard hurling abuses and thrashing a father-son duo mercilessly with sturdy sticks.
However, no complaint about the incident has been lodged in the nearby police station so far.

According to reports, a local group named ‘Human Organisation’ has been trying to include tribal people in Bolagarh area into their fold by using force. It is alleged that the members of the group are resorting to lynching those who refuse to join them.
Significantly, reports stated that the father-son duo from Kadaba, who were at the receiving end of the group’s tyranny were clueless about the organisation or its members.
“Some people called us to a place and asked us to kneel down. They removed our shirt and started beating us mercilessly without any reason,” said the man, identified as the father of the boy accompanying him.
Surprisingly, the local police appear to be clueless about the tragic incident in their area.
“We haven’t received complaint about any such incident. We will certainly look into the matter and further course of action will be decided following investigation,” said Khordha ACP Rajkishore Dora.
It is worth mentioning that members of this organisation had allegedly beaten a man from Karadagadia village in the district to death sometime back. As many as five persons had been arrested in connection with the murder case.
