EOW Team Led by ASP Raids Raja Chakra’s House
A special EOW team, led by an Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), conducted the search operation at Raja Chakra’s house located in Jagannathpur, Keonjhar.
According to sources, the raid was initiated based on new findings obtained during a previous remand interrogation of the accused. The officials searched the premises thoroughly, scrutinizing financial documents and other records.
Previous Arrest and Investigation
Earlier, Raja Chakra was arrested by the EOW in connection with the case, following which he was taken into remand for further interrogation. During his custody, the investigating team reportedly gathered crucial information that led to this latest raid.
The authorities suspect major financial discrepancies related to the operations of the loading agency, prompting deeper scrutiny into the transactions and possible involvement of other individuals.
Continuing Probe into Financial Irregularities
The Gandhamardan Loading Agency case has gained significant attention due to allegations of large-scale financial mismanagement and fund diversion. Investigators believe that the company was involved in illegally transferring money and bypassing financial regulations, potentially leading to huge losses to the state exchequer.
Political and Legal Implications
The fresh raid has raised eyebrows in political circles, as Raja Chakra is a known BJD leader with strong political influence in Keonjhar. The ongoing investigation and repeated raids suggest that the EOW is intensifying its probe to uncover deeper financial irregularities and track down all individuals involved.
Authorities are expected to release more details as the investigation progresses, with further action likely based on the evidence collected during the raid.
