The Excise Department officials on Friday arrested a person for illegally selling country liquor in 100 ML mustard oil bottles in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, the selling of country liquor at betel shops and other small shops has been rampant in the capital city of Bhubaneswar. To avoid being noticed, shopkeepers are allegedly selling liquor packed in 100 ML mustard oil bottles.
At first glance, it is difficult to say the bottles contain liquor.

On Friday, one such shopkeeper ran out of luck when the Excise Department officials raided his shop and seized 30 litres of illegal country liquor packed in bottles. Later, he was produced in a court.
The department said a strict vigil will be kept on such shops in the coming days.
