Bhubaneswar ex-professor who stabbed sleeping father to death was debt-ridden and stressed 

A former law professor in Bhubaneswar, Anirudha Choudhury, stabbed his retired NALCO official father to death due to stress and financial debt. The incident has shocked the city, highlighting the severe mental stress and loan burdens faced by the accused.

The former law professor, who stabbed his father to death in Bhubaneswar, was under stress primarily because his father refused to lend him money to clear his debts, said police on Thursday. 

On Wednesday, city dwellers woke up to a bone-chilling incident of a law professor stabbing his father, a retired NALCO official, to death at an apartment at Rangamatia under the Mancheswar police limits.
