Bangladeshi women trafficking: Third accused lands in Commissionerate Police
Intensifying its probe into the well-organised human trafficking and sex racket having links to Bangladesh, the Commissionerate Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a pimp of the illicit trade from Jharpada area in Bhubaneswar.
The accused, identified as Abdul Sayadul Suleman, has been arrested by Madhupatna Police. He has been arrested in the alleged sex trafficking case involving a minor girl from neighbouring Bangladesh.
So far, the Commissionerate Police has arrested three accused in connection with the incident.

Earlier on Monday, a couple, Om Prakash Choudhry and Jasmin Choudhry were arrested from Cuttack in this connection.
The couple was arrested after the rescue of the minor who was allegedly forced into the flesh trade in a massage parlour by them.
Cuttack DCP Jagmohan Meena on Tuesday informed that the accused Abdul used to work as a pimp and had engaged the minor girl in the prostitution racket. One person has also been detained and he is being interrogated, he said.
The victim is currently lodged in a short stay home in Cuttack under police custody. Efforts are on to establish contact with her family in Bangladesh to complete necessary formalities to hand over her custody.
The cops are trying to ascertain the involvement of others involved in the racket based on the statements of the victim. Pictures are also being showed to her to identify the culprits, sources said.
Earlier, the State Director General of Police (DGP) had stated that that a detailed investigation is being carried out to ascertain how the Bangladeshi women crossed the border and entered India.
