Bollywood is abuzz with excitement over superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama, Battle of Galwan. Recently, social media went into a frenzy when director Apoorva Lakhia shared photos of none other than Millennium Star Amitabh Bachchan from the film’s sets.

Fans immediately began speculating whether the megastar would appear in a cameo or a pivotal role alongside Salman Khan. 

Apoorva Lakhia Breaks His Silence

Lakhia’s Instagram Stories showed Bachchan on the sets in Mumbai’s Film City, captioned, "Guess what he is telling me? #legendonsetstoday." (sic)

The post quickly spread like wildfire, igniting curiosity across fan pages and entertainment portals.

However, the director has now addressed the rumours directly. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he clarified, "No. He was shooting for a commercial in the opposite studio, so I went to meet him and said hello."

Old Bonds, New Memories

The clarification may have ended the speculation, but the camaraderie between Lakhia and Bachchan remains undeniable.

The duo previously worked together on films such as Ek Ajnabee (2005) and Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost (2003), both remembered for their gripping narratives and strong performances.

The Film and What Lies Ahead

Meanwhile, Battle of Galwan continues to be one of Bollywood’s most anticipated projects. Starring Salman Khan as an Indian Army officer, the film revisits the valiant 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops.

Actress Chitrangada Singh is expected to join the second schedule in Mumbai soon.

Notably, a couple of days ago, reports were abuzz that Govinda has joined the cast of Battle of Galwan. Salman and Govinda will reportedly showcase intense and powerful avatars in this high-octane film. However, no official clarification has been obtained from the makers or the actors.
