At the Mumbai premiere of the show, the spotlight unexpectedly shifted to his daughter, Vera Bedi, who walked the red carpet with him for the very first time.

Rajat Reacts to His Daughter Going Viral

The sudden attention around his family came as a surprise to Rajat. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he admitted, “My whole family has got into the spotlight. It's not just me alone. My children are exposed right now because of me and the show. They have gone viral, and it’s crazy.”

Sharing how Vera has been dealing with it, he continued, “She is just overwhelmed... because that attention is not just from India, but global… People are calling from America, Canada, London, Dubai, everywhere. She is so simple, and she has never been exposed to anything like this. This is the first time in her life that she has gone to a red carpet event with her father. She is so simple.”

Fame Comes With Its Own Burden

Rajat, having grown up in the film industry himself, understands the pressures that fame can bring. But when asked if he had guided his children on handling the limelight, he responded, “No, I have not yet spoken to them about how to deal with it. But they know they have to be humble, respectful with any and everyone. You'll never see my children have any attitude or anything with anyone… That being said, this is all so new to them and they are also overwhelmed.”

Children Eyeing a Future in Entertainment

Both of Rajat’s children now appear to be leaning toward careers in showbiz. His son Vivaan has already gained experience, spending over two years assisting Aryan Khan on The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Rajat shared with excitement, “When we talk about my son, planning is going on to launch him right now. So, God willing, you'll see something on that soon.”

As for his daughter, the buzz and comparisons seem to have sparked new possibilities. When asked if Vera was considering acting, he admitted, "She is thinking about it. She never did, but now she is."
