Sometimes, all it takes is one moment of compassion to change a life. Amid honking cars and rushing deadlines, a Online delivery executive paused his day, and the internet hasn’t stopped talking about what he did next. Listening to that feeling, he chose humanity over haste, turning an ordinary workday into a powerful story of kindness. His small yet brave act has since touched millions online.
The incident, reported to have taken place on January 17, was captured in a video that has since gone viral on Instagram. The clip shows a Online delivery executive named Dev holding a frightened puppy that was running dangerously between speeding vehicles. Explaining the situation, Dev said the puppy could have been run over at any moment.
Understanding the urgency, Dev didn’t wait for help or walk away. Instead, he stepped in immediately, putting the puppy’s safety above everything else.
A Red Bag, A Safe Haven
Dev gently picked up the puppy and moved it away from the busy road. What followed truly melted hearts online. The rescued puppy was later seen calmly sitting inside Dev’s red delivery bag, peeking out with curious eyes. Dev revealed that he had even named the puppy Duggu.
The video quickly gained over 1.1 million views, with social media users praising Dev’s kindness and presence of mind.
Singer Jasleen Matharu commented, “God bless you.. is duniya ko aap jaise pyaare logo ki zarurat hai.” Filmmaker Lakshmi R Iyer reacted with red heart emojis.
Others called Duggu a blessing and joked about friendships forming anywhere on Earth.
A New Beginning
What makes the story even more special is that it didn’t end with the rescue. Dev has been sharing updates about Duggu on Instagram, giving people a glimpse into the puppy’s new, safer life proof that a moment of kindness can truly change a destiny.
