Samal visited Komna and Nuapada today, where a special induction event—dubbed as the "Mishrana Parba"—was held at the BJP’s district office. The event marked a significant political shift as new members pledged allegiance to the saffron party.
Addressing the gathering, Manmohan Samal said that concrete steps will be taken to ensure the Nuapada segment becomes a model constituency, highlighting both local development and its strategic importance in the State's politics.
With bypolls nearing, the BJP is clearly ramping up its grassroots efforts and consolidating support in a region historically known for political churn.
“My tour of the Nuapada district began today from Khariar. First of all, I thank and wish all those from Nuapada, who joined the BJP today. Certainly, the party organisation will become stronger, and in turn, the State will also become stronger,” Odisha BJP chief said.
“BJP is the largest political party in the world. Being attracted to the Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi and Mohan Majhi-led State government, many people are joining the party. Certainly, our Central and State governments will make efforts, whatever can be done, to resolve the basic issues of Nuapada district that have existed for the last 78 years,” the BJP chief stated.
When asked by mediapersons, the Odisha BJP President added, saying, “Bypoll in Nuapada is to be conducted and the BJP will contest the election and come out victorious.”
