Dubai: In a big jolt to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in today's 19th IPL match, Virat Kohli's squad failed to achieve the winning target of 197 runs against Delhi Capitals (DC). Shreyas Iyer's squad won the match by 59 runs. RCB scored 137 runs at a loss of 9 wickets. With the win, DC reclaimed the top spot in the IPL 2020 Points-Table.
Spinners R Ashwin and Axar Patel struck in their first over to dismiss RCB openers Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch. Finch was dropped twice in two overs as Royal Challengers Bangalore began their hunt for 197 runs and scored only 13 runs from 14 balls before getting dismissed.
Anrich Nortje dismissed the dangerous AB de Villiers for 9 a little earlier.
The Delhi Capitals bowlers managed to keep Virat Kohli quiet as the required run rate jumped to almost 15 runs an over.
Kagiso Rabada picked up the big wicket of Virat Kohli to hurt RCB’s hopes and followed it by dismissing Washington Sundar in the next over. RCB Captain Kohli scored 43 in 39 balls while Sundar scored 17 in 11 balls.
However, in the 19th IPL match, Kohli became the first Indian batsman to score 9000 T20 runs, which added feathers to his cap.

Marcus Stoinis's quickfire half-century helped Delhi Capitals (DC) post a challenging 196 for four wickets against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in an IPL game here on Monday.
Stoinis (53 off 26 balls) put on 89 runs with Rishabh Pant (37 off 25) for the fourth wicket in 6.5 overs as the duo took charge after RCB had claimed quick wickets to peg DC back, after a strong start provided by Prithvi Shaw (42 off 23 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (32 off 28 balls) for the first wicket. Shaw and Dhawan put on 68 in just over six overs.

However, three wickets in the next 30 balls with the addition of just 22 runs brought RCB back. Stoinis survived an early chance with Yuzvendra Chahal dropping him off his own bowling. After that he clobbered the RCB bowlers, hitting six fours and two sixes.
