Dr Lakshmi Bai has expressed the desire that her donation will be spent on the treatment of women cancer patients.
"Madam is a gynaecologist. I am her undergraduate student. From my student career, I have seen her maintaining a normal life. She was very much interested to learn yoga during her career. She was going to a community professor named Bholanath Das to learn yoga during the 1970s. She also used to attend 'satsang' at that time. As per her age, she is fully healthy. She doesn't have diabetes or hypertension. She is getting treatment under the care of Dr Trinath Mishra. Dr Uma Padhy also checks if she has any neurological problems. She wants to donate Rs 3.4 crore to AIIMS Bhubaneswar as per her wish," said a student of Dr Lakshmi Bai.
