"The State government has not yet issued any clarification about the SI recruitment examination. Though the aspirants are preparing for the written and physical test examinations for years, the recruitment body or the Home Department has not issued any notifications about the probable examination date so far. OPRB has also not issued any notification for the clarity of around 1.5 lakh aspirants. Earlier, we had staged a demonstration in front of OPRB office. However, we were assured then that the recruitment process will be completed before the Plus 2 examination. However, not a single notification has been issued about the examination. If no notification on SI recruitment is issued by January 26, we will resume our agitation throughout the State this time," said Prajnya Prusty, an aspirant from Baripada.
