According to police, Nataraj was pushed off the Tel River bridge on the night of January 2 and his body was later recovered from beneath the bridge. Shockingly, the tragic incident occurred barely a month before Nataraj was scheduled to get married.

Investigations revealed that the prime accused in the case is the victim’s elder brother, Nabkumar Thanapati. Police said Nabkumar allegedly conspired to eliminate his younger brother and hired contract killers for the purpose. As part of the plot, Nabkumar hired his brother Nataraj’s best friend, identified as Khetra, to carry out the murder. The accused reportedly paid an advance amount of Rs 60,000 to execute the crime.
