The Lok Sabha Secretariat on Wednesday announced the composition of the Select Committee on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025, with National Vice President, BJP & 5-time MP from Odisha, Baijayant Panda, appointed as the Chairperson of the committee.
The committee, constituted to examine the proposed amendments to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, comprises 24 members from the Lok Sabha, representing various parties and regions.

“The Hon’ble Speaker has been pleased to appoint Shri Baijayant Panda, MP, Lok Sabha as the Chairperson of the Select Committee on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025,” a letter read.
The members of the Select Committee are:
Shri Baijayant Panda, Dr. D. Purandeswari, Dr. C. N. Manjunath, Shri Mitesh Patel Bakabhai, Shri Anil Firojiya, Dr. Anand Kumar, Shri Biplab Kumar Deb, Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Shri Saumitra Khan, Shri Karti P. Chidambaram, Shri Shreyas M. Patel, Shri Ravindra Vasantrao Chavan, Shri Bhajan Lal Jatav, Shri Neeraj Maurya, Thiru D. M. Kathir Anand, Smt. Supriya Sule, Shri Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu, Smt. Mahua Moitra, Shri Sunil Kumar, Dr. Shrikant Eknath Shinde, Shri Navaskani K, Shri P. V. Midhun Reddy, Dr. Rajkumar Sangwan, and Shri Chandra Prakash Choudhary.
The committee is tasked with scrutinising the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025, and presenting its findings and recommendations to Parliament.
