Challenge to 'Operation Chakra'! Passengers attacked inside OSRTC bus in Puri; 4 critical

A youth reportedly attacked passengers on an OSRTC Bus traveling from Harashpada to Sukal in Puri district on Tuesday. The assault took place inside the bus, leaving several passengers injured.

According to sources, the assailant suddenly boarded the OSRTC bus and began attacking passengers indiscriminately. Four people sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to Kanas hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that the attacker is also in custody and an investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the violent act. 

Meanwhile, Puri police have intensified patrolling along the route to prevent any further incidents on buses.
