Armed youths threaten Rourkela college students, get beaten up black & blue

In a shocking display of gangsterism, two youths threatened students at the Panposh Government College in Rourkela during broad daylight. Eyewitnesses reported that the men brandished a gun and other weapons, intimidating the college students and causing panic on campus.

Residents, witnessing the alarming situation, intervened promptly. They managed to overpower the youths and disarm them, delivering one of the suspects to the Raghunathpalli police. The second youth, however, took advantage of the chaos and fled the scene, prompting a citywide search by the police.

According to locals, the armed youths appeared to deliberately target students, creating fear among the community. The swift action of bystanders prevented a potentially more serious incident, earning appreciation from the public.
