Serious irregularities have surfaced in the conduct of the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) examination after reports of a question paper leak just hours before the scheduled test on Friday. According to allegations, the question paper for the Second-Year ANM examination was found to be circulating on social media around 11 AM, nearly three hours before the exam was to commence at 2 PM.
The leaked paper, reportedly belonging to the Midwifery subject, is said to have been shared through social media platforms, raising concerns about the transparency and security of the examination process. Complaints regarding the leak have emerged from candidates and sources in Malkangiri and Bolangir districts.
However, whether the viral question paper and original question papers are the same or not will be cleared once the examination begins.
Students have expressed outrage, claiming that such lapses jeopardise the credibility of the nursing education system. Many have demanded that authorities conduct a thorough investigation and take strict action against those responsible.
Meanwhile, officials have not cancelled the examination. The matter has triggered widespread discussion, with calls for immediate intervention from the State Health and Family Welfare Department.
