At least three persons were killed while another two were injured in separate road accidents in Odisha on Tuesday. The first tragic accident took place late Monday night near Rairakhol under Charmal Police Station limits in Nuapada district.
A car travelling from Bhubaneswar to Sambalpur lost control and rammed into a divider, resulting in the death of a woman passenger. Two others in the vehicle sustained critical injuries and were immediately shifted to VIMSAR Hospital in Burla for treatment.
According to police, the driver is suspected to have lost balance at high speed, causing the car to crash violently against the divider. The collision was so harsh that the vehicle was badly damaged in the impact. Authorities have launched an inquiry to determine whether speeding or mechanical failure led to the accident.

Two Killed in Keonjhar Bike Collision
In another tragic incident, two people were killed when their motorcycle hit an electric pole near Marsua on National Highway 520 under Champua Police Station in Keonjhar district. Police said the bikers lost control of the vehicle, leading to the fatal crash. The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed.
