Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 death fatality count reached 333 in Odisha as 9 more positive patients succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, informed the Health and Family Welfare department on Saturday. Sambalpur has reported highest casualties during the period.
According to information provided by H&FW department, 4 patients succumbed to coronavirus in Sambalpur, Cuttack registered two deaths, while Nayagarh, Ganjam and Keonjhar reported one death each.
The deceases include:
- A 65-year-old female of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes
- A 74-year-old male of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes
- A 78-year-old male of Sambalpur district
- A 50-year-old female of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes
- A 67-year-old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease
- A 50-year-old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension
- A 53-year-old male of Ganjam district
- A 58-year-old male of Keonjhar district who was also suffering from Diabetes
- A 75-year-old male of Nayagarh district
The death toll of Covid patients in Odisha who have succumbed due to other health complications stands at 53.
