Police Raids D Brothers' Residence, Firearms Seized

Cuttack: In a major development involving the notorious gangster Dhalasamanta brothers, the Commissionerate Police on Thursday raided the residence of the arrested duo in CDA Sector-6 of Cuttack.

As per reports, the police acted on a tip off and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the gangster's residence.

Sources said, Police recovered around 500 rounds of bullets from a sealed box and as many as 7 guns during raid at the residence of arrested gangster Dhalasamanta brothers. Three people have also been detained.

Though the Dhalasamanta brothers are now lodged in jail, intelligence has traced vital lead into the crime syndicate run by the duo from the confines of the prison, informed DCP of Cuttack Prateek Singh.

It is significant to mention here that, the Commissionerate Police had recently arrested Dhalasamanta's associate Ranjita Biswal and reportedly managed to extract vital information about the criminal empire of the D Brothers.
