Bhubaneswar: As many as 3342 patients were cured of COVID-19 in Odisha on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 22,7615.
The maximum number of 511 patients recovered from Khordha, 511 from Khordha, 366 from Cuttack, 362 from Mayurbhanj, 288 from Anugul, 155 from Jajapur, 131 from Kendrapara, 104 from Bargarh, 103 from Puri, 93 from Sambalpur, 89 from Keonjhar and 84 from Bhadrak.
Similarly, 82 patients cured of the disease from Bolangir, 76 from Jagatsinghpur, 72 from Sundargarh, 64 from Boudh, 53 from Sonepur, 52 from Jharsuguda, 48 from Nayagarh, 47 from Kalahandi, 46 from Kandhamal, 42 from Ganjam, 42 from Nuapada, 40 from Dhenkanal, 39 from Koraput, 35 from Malkangiri, 34 from Baleswar, 22 from Deogarh, 14 from Rayagada, 13 from Nabarangpur, 10 from Gajapati and 225 from State Pool.
Covid-19 cases continued to show a declining trend in Odisha with 2546 fresh cases being reported in the last 24 hours. This is the State’s lowest number of fresh infections in over last month and a half. New Corona cases stood at 2239 on August 17, the lowest as compared to the latest figures of fresh cases released by the State I&PR Department.
