Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court on Monday directed the State Bar Council to notify the dates for the election to all bar associations.
As per the HC directive, the State Bar Council has been asked to issue a notification to this effect by the end of November and announce the results after completing the poll process by December 15.
Earlier, the State Bar Council had twice postponed the election to the Bar associations. Initially, it was supposed to be held on March 28, but was postponed to April 25 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
