Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Saturday reported record COVID-19 recoveries with 4,761 patients recuperating from the disease in the past 24 hours.
"Happy to share that with the discharge of another 4761 Covid patients today, Odisha touches another high in single day recovery of Covid cases," Odisha Health & Family Welfare department tweeted. With today's record recovery, the total COVID-19 recoveries in Odisha has now reached 1,70,193, as per the Health Department data. Khordha district reported highest 1173 recoveries, followed by 411 recoveries from Cuttack, 216 from Mayurbhanj & 167 from Sundargarh. According to the data furnished by the Health department, 587 recoveries were reported under the state pool head. Earlier in the day, the state reported ‘highest’ single-day spike of 4,356 COVID19 cases in the last 24 hours pushing the total positive tally to 2,05,452 cases.
