Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha will experience light to moderate rainfall in the next 24 hours, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.
The cyclonic circulation over west central Bay of Bengal and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal off South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, north Tamil Nadu coasts extending upto 2.1 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
Light to moderate rainfall has occurred at many places over the districts of north interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of south interior and coastal Odisha. Angul and Jharsuguda districts have recorded heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours.

As per the latest weather update, light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha in the next 24 hours.
Yellow Warning (Be Updated):
Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Deogarh, Sundergarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj. The warning is valid till 0830 hours of September 4.
Day 2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of September 5 up to 0830 Hrs of September 6)
Yellow Warning (Be Updated)
Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
Day 3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of September 6 up to 0830 Hrs of September 7)
Yellow Warning (Be Updated): Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal and Kandhamal.
Heavy rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is also likely to occur at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha on September 7 and 8.
