Delhi: The Special CBI Court in Delhi on Wednesday reserved its verdict on quantum of punishment against Dilip Ray, the former Union Minister of State for Coal and others, who were convicted in the coal block allocation case, till October 26.

On October 6, the Rouse Avenue Court had convicted Ray, two senior officials of the Ministry of Coal at that time, Pradip Kumar Banerjee and Nitya Nand Gautam, director of Castron Technologies Ltd (CTL) Mahendra Kumar Agarwalla and Castron Mining Ltd (CML) in the case pertaining to allocation of 105.153 hectares of abandoned coal mining area in Brahmadiha coal block in Giridih district of Jharkhand to CTL in 1999.
