Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi on Saturday strongly condemned Odisha government for targeting OTV and said that a news channel that exposes corruption should be protected to save democracy.
It is improper to harass a popular channel like OTV. Everyone should be mindful of their limits if a channel is exposing corruption, it should be welcomed, said Sarangi.

"Harassing a particular news channel, which is the most popular one in the State, is condemnable. Everyone is aware of COVID-19 mismanagement in Odisha and the channel, which exposed it, should be called over tea," the MP said.
She further said that the government should shun its vindictive approach and take suggestions from such a news channel on how to mend the loopholes.
