Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 recovery graph continued to move upwards steadily with 1,911 more patients getting cured of Coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. With this, the cumulative COVID-19 recoveries in the state reached 2,75,749 on Friday.

As per the information provided by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Khordha district reported the maximum 245 COVID-19 recoveries on Saturday.

Similarly 153 patients recovered from Cuttack, 138 from Bolangir, 101 from Sundargarh, 96 from Mayurbhanj, 81 from Jagatsinghpur, 78 from Anugul, 78 from Kalahandi, 76 from Nuapada, 74 from Baleswar, 72 from Jajapur, 71 from Keonjhar, 63 from Bargarh, 52 from Kendrapara, 50 from Bhadrak, 50 from Puri, 50 from Sambalpur, 46 from Dhenkanal, 45 from Nabarangpur, 42 from Koraput, 36 from Jharsuguda, 33 from Nayagarh, 26 from Ganjam, 25 from Malkangiri, 24 from Kandhamal, 20 from Sonepur, 16 from Rayagada, 9 from Deogarh, 8 from Gajapati2 from Boudh and 51 from State Pool.

Earlier in the day, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally went up to 2,90,116 on Saturday. Of the fresh cases, 853 patients are from quarantine, while 617 are local contact cases, informed State I&PR department.

The death toll in the State has climbed to 1320 with 12 more fatalities in the last 24 hours.
