There will be no major change in the maximum or day temperature during the next three days in Odisha. However, subsequently the mercury is expected to rise gradually by 2 to 4 degrees C over several parts of the state, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday.

The IMD has also predicted thunderstorm activities in different pockets of Odisha during the next three to four days. Orange and yellow warnings have also been issued for some districts of the state by the IMD.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur in the afternoon/evening hours at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal.
