45 degrees in Odisha likely, heat wave to continue: IMD

It seems there is no respite from the blistering heat wave sweeping across the state as the IMD predicted that similar conditions will continue for five more days. 

As per the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar, as many as ten cities touched 41 degrees Celsius or above on Monday. Baripada became the hottest city recording 41. 4 degrees Celsius, followed by Bhubaneswar, Chandbali and Nuapada (41.2 degrees Celsius each), Malkangiri (41.1 degrees Celsius), Boudh, Jharsuguda, Titlagarh,Jagatsinghpur and Paralakhemundi (41 degrees Celsius each).
