Scenes from these times usually feature aspiring future-makers of this country busy preparing for their subjects. However, a viral video, currently trending on the Internet has caught many unawares and drawn sharp criticism.
What happened in the viral video?
In a surprising turn of events, a viral video, shared on Instagram by the handle 'heyy_br_01,' showcases a Bihar girl getting married on her way to her 10th board exam. The video shows the girl and her boyfriend performing the marriage ceremony by applying sindoor on her forehead by the roadside.
The video also stated that the incident took place on February 22. The girl's boyfriend, in a spontaneous act of commitment, applied sindoor, without any warning. The couple, smiling and happy, tagged their ceremony as a 'love marriage.'

Social media reaction:
This unusual event quickly gained traction on social media, leaving viewers both shocked and amused. Some people doubted the authenticity of the video, while others expressed concerns about the seriousness of marriage among today's youth.
Comments like, "Is this a joke?” and "If it's real, why are we even worried about the next generation—it's already doomed," reflected the mixed reactions.

Allegations of misinformation:
Many on social media were, however, quick to notice that the girl, allegedly on her way to take board exams, was not in proper school uniform. Further, the entire series of events appeared staged and may have simply been put up for engagement.
“A good way to profit from board exams is to not study and make fake videos,” claimed one on social media. Others followed with “This is why kids should not be allowed mobile phones”.
