Kurti-clad girls' viral 'Kukkad' dance from 'Student of the Year' sets social media abuzz

The 2012 Bollywood rom-com ‘Student of the Year,’ directed by Karan Johar, still in the hearts of the young generation with its catchy songs continue to captivate audiences on social media platforms.

Recently, a viral video surfaced featuring a group of girls dressed in trendy kurtis and jeans, energetically dancing to one of hit songs of the movie.

The song 'Kukkad,' originally sung by Shahid Mallya and Nisha Mascarenhas, features the talents of Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, and Alia Bhatt, who danced to the song in the movie.

In this viral rendition, the five girls' dance moves are nothing short of spectacular, complemented by their stylish kurtis and flowing hair adorned with jeans.

The visual spectacle, combined with the infectious lyrics, has garnered widespread attention, amassing over 13.2 million views and 857k likes, along with an abundance of comments flooding the video's section.

Enthusiastic viewers express their admiration for the performance, with one user commenting, "Kurti waali," while another wrote 'Mujhe bhi aisi girls group chahiye 🤧 (kaha milegi).' 

Another user commented, "Aise friend group ke liye kaunsa vrat rakhna hota hai didi?' I want to recreate this, but I don't have enough friends 😭," wrote another user.
