The ‘Bharat Bandh’ call given by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha to press the Central government to accept farmers’ demands, including a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) for their produce has entered the third day.
While a couple of successful meetings were held between farmer representatives and Centre and the next meeting is set to be held on Sunday, large numbers of farmers are still marching towards Delhi. They are seen camping at the two borders of Punjab and Haryana over their various demands.
Meanwhile, a video of the agitating farmers allegedly enjoying free liquor has caught everyone’s attention. The viral clip shows a man sitting inside a car and distributing free liquor to people. Holding glasses, cups and other utensils, the alleged farmers can be seen taking their share of liquor.
An X (Twitter) user shared the video and hilariously wrote, “Morning tea distribution by so-called farmer leaders to poor farmers at Sambhu border. Haters will say this is liquor. #FarmersProtest” Since being shared online, the video has amassed over 61.2K views with the number increasing each passing second.

Netizens exclaimed disbelief with many expressing shock over the viral video. “It is not their fault, they don’t know why they are there, but only came for free food and drinks,” a netizen commented.
Another user sarcastically wrote, “On a chilly winter morning, a sip of ‘Red Tea’ can energize your entire day. Please refrain from promoting tea as an alcoholic beverage.”
“Now, they will demand a bottle of blue label to be sent to every farmers’ house every Friday,” a third user commented.
Earlier, a video of a farmer sitting on a Mercedes worth Rs 4 crore had gone viral, raising serious doubts on the authenticity of the ‘so called’ farmers who are currently protesting against the Union government.
