Marriage is a sacred bond that unites two souls. This life event makes the relationship official and permanent and both the bride and groom announce their relationship publicly. However, most of the brides and grooms eagerly wait for their honeymoon.
It’s needless to say, the honeymoon gives a time of privacy to the newlywed couple and both of them completely focus on each other and begin the journey together.
What if one finds his bride missing on their honeymoon trip? How would a man react if he finds that his wife intoxicated him and fled to reunite with her lover? Though this sounds like the plot of any movie, such an incident has actually taken place in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh.
As per a report published by Zee News, the groom, identified as Satyam is a resident of Aligarh’s Gurudwara road under the Civil Line police station limits. He tied the knot with Dipasi, a resident of Agra Cantt, in November. As informed by Satyam, he went with his wife to Uttarakhand for a honeymoon on December 8, 2022. The newly-wed couple went to Rishikesh and booked a room in a private hotel near a bus stand on December 9.
However, after drinking tea, Satyam lost consciousness. As alleged by Satyam, his wife Dipasi had added some intoxicating substance in the tea for which he lost consciousness.
Later, Dipasi packed her luggage and fled from the hotel with her bag and money. When Satyam regained his consciousness at around 2 am in midnight, he couldn’t find his wife. Later, when he inquired about his wife from the hotel staff, he learned that she went out of the hotel at around 7 pm in the evening and she was carrying her luggage.
Immediately, he filed a complaint with the police regarding the matter. Upon investigation, it was found that Dipasi had left for Delhi on a bus. Satyam informed about the incident to his family in Aligarh as well as his in-laws in Agra.
However, Dipasi’s family reacted strangely and asked Satyam to forget her as she was in a relationship with another youth named Anshu Yadav, a gangster.
Later, Satyam filed written complaints with Uttarakhand police, Aligarh Police, and Agra police. However, the police are yet to take any action in the case. Following the alleged inaction of the police, Satyam knocked the doors of the court. Shockingly, Dipasi has sent a legal notice to Satyam alleging physical assault and torture over dowry.
