Apple is renowned for its luxurious smartphones, which always create a great deal of excitement among tech aficionados.
This year, the corporation is poised to unveil its newest iPhone, the iPhone 15, which is slated to hit the Indian and other markets in September 2023.
Although the specific release date is still shrouded in secrecy, leaked information has already given us ample insights.
Design Changes
One of the primary alterations expected in the iPhone 15's design is the Dynamic Island feature, which will bestow the flagship device with a punch-hole display design.
Presently, this feature is restricted to only iPhone 14 Pro models; however, leaks suggest that it may also be incorporated into the standard model of the iPhone 15.
Another potential design transformation is the frosted glass back with a matte finish, which was observed on last year's iPhone 14 Pro models.
Moreover, there is a rumour that a USB Type-C port may be included at the bottom instead of Apple's proprietary Lightning port.
Expected Specifications and Features
The iPhone 15 is projected to showcase Apple's Bionic A16 chipset, which fuelled the iPhone 14 Pro models last year.
This aligns with the company's strategy of providing lower-priced models with the flagship phone's chipset.
As per leaks, the standard versions are rumoured to have 48-megapixel cameras, which is a noteworthy improvement over the 12-megapixel sensors featured on current iPhone models.
Nevertheless, the standard models may not possess a telephoto lens for optical zoom or a LiDAR feature, which may only be available on the higher-end models.
Expected Price
Although the cost of the iPhone 15 remains undisclosed, early disclosures indicate that it might be comparable to its predecessor, the iPhone 14, which was launched in India at a base price of Rs 79,900.
It is plausible that the latest rendition will fall within the same price range, but Apple may choose to hike up the cost if they offer a fresh design.
