Infinix Zero 40 5G Smartphone with AI features and 50MP selfie camera launched in India; Check price

The highly anticipated Infinix Zero 40 5G smartphone has been launched in India. 

This mid-range device was unveiled in select countries back in August, alongside the Infinix Zero 40 4G. 

The Zero 40 5G will be available in India later this week, so let’s take a closer look at its specifications and features, especially since it is the first phone to incorporate Infinix AI.

Display

The Infinix Zero 40 5G features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,436 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Performance

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC and running on Android 14, the Infinix Zero 40 5G comes up with innovative AI features, including AI Eraser and AI Cutout. It’s the first model to offer these Infinix AI capabilities.

Camera

The smartphone includes a triple rear camera system: a 108MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. 

The front camera boasts a 50MP sensor as well, and both the front and rear cameras can record 4K video at 60 frames per second.

Battery

The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W wired and 20W wireless fast charging.

Price in India

The Infinix Zero 40 5G is priced at Rs 27,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and Rs 30,000 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. According to official reports, sales will start today, September 21, in India.
